Reflection
This is my final blog before Christmas break, and I am going to be reflecting on my semester, specifically the workshop I took part in for Digital Economy, in college.
For anyone that has been reading since day 1 (I know who you guys are) you would have seen different topics that I touch on week on week. These were the same topics that I studied in class. I found blogging about the topics afterwards enabled me to learn more and retain what my lecturer spoke about.
We were faced with the challenge of preparing and executing a workshop for our class. This began with us making a group of five. Firstly, we learned what a Gantt Chart was, and created our own. This showed a breakdown of the different parts of the project we each did and if it was individual work or team work. I found it really satisfying to see the different pieces of it come together.
Our topic for the workshop was "Enterprise Applications" and we were the first group up. I remember that one of the main points in our presentation was that it was a workshop and we weren't just teaching the class, because we have already studied it. Myself and my other group members tried to make the workshop as engaging as possible, with an ice breaker of "Guess Who?" and activities based on Enterprise Applications.
I really enjoyed presenting the workshop and my team members were great too, I think we all worked great together. The class were also helpful by engaging and letting lose for the workshop.
To cap off this semester I will be running a giveaway of a €200 OneforAll Voucher, all you have to do is go over to our Instagram, like our recent post and tag a friend. Good Luck to everyone entering!
Winner will be announced on the 21st of December.
I would just like to say thanks very much to everyone who has supported this blog over the last few weeks, it is highly appreciated !
All the best,
Jack.
